The course is little over half a mile and takes participants on a quick jog around beautiful Heritage Park, with views of the Cass River and the Frankenmuth Brewery along the way.
The course ends back at the pavilion, where 1Beer1K participants will be let into the World Expo of Beer a full hour early! Participants will receive a fresh baked pretzel from Frankenmuth’s Bavarian Inn and the chance to try some of the more popular offerings from well-known Michigan breweries ahead of everyone else in the crowd!
This event starts at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, make sure to bring your ticket and ID to the admissions line in front of Harvey Kern Pavilion at least a half hour before the starting time!
This untimed, non-competitive fun run gets participants on the move in anticipation of one of Michigan's largest beer festivals, with all proceeds going to charitable causes. 1Beer1k, and the World Expo of Beer, is organized by the Frankenmuth Jaycees, a volunteer organization for young professionals ages 21 to 40.
